2022 October Club Champions – Ashok and Ranjith

Considering the number of players and limited courts this time we grouped the participants into A and B. The best four moved into division one and division two semi-finals. The games were spectacular this time with some outstanding performances from all teams. Three sets were played in Division One, with Sharan and Joe winning the first set, however, Ashok and Ranjith were persistent with their previous success and won the title. The good news is that Sharan is back to badminton after 9 months of post-surgery rehab. Division two was similarly competitive with Frijo and Libin winning the title. Some remarkable sport was displayed by Frijo which earned him player of the day. Division two runners-up were Basil and Ranjith Wilson, another surprising pair of AMBC who always overturn any existing norms.
