This is an official tournament organised by Manawatu badminton association, an event with multiple disciplines and a huge number of participants from different parts of New Zealand.The duo, is now emerging as one of the most formidable partnerships, displaying relentless energy and brilliant shot-making to claim this coveted Runners up title. Winners MD – Sharan and Gineesh Tamil Association Badminton Tournament 2024 Organised by Tamil Association New Zealand Sharan and Gineesh men’s doubles pair marked their never give up attitude in this wonderful tournament. Tamil association tournament this year have been nothing short of spectacular, with high-stakes matches, nail-biting finishes, and athletes pushing the boundaries of endurance and skill. From intense rallies to stunning smashes, these players have demonstrated unparalleled grit. Pair’s path to finals included thrilling quarter and semi final matches against prominent Auckland players. The victory in final, was a display of pure dominance,  left Gauda and his partner struggling to keep pace with our explosive pairs. Another well deserved victory.

Winners MD – Sharan and Arjun PORAATTAM 2024 Poraattam 2024 tournament was organised by ABC Badminton club, Titirangi. Sharan and Arjun paired in this tournament. Sharan is back to the games after 18 months of post surgery and Rehab. His dedication, hard work, and passion have truly paid off.Winning the tournament in these circumstances shows immense dedication. Winners – Nidhin and Arjun HMBC NZ Malayalee Open 2023. Hamilton Malayalee Badminton Club is a Waikato Based Badminton Club, affiliated to WBA (Waikato Badminton Association). The championship is held every year.  Congratulations to our first time winners in Malayali open. As witnessed, both players were in the finest form and swept aside their opponents in the finals bidding their second title this year. The two players dominated the entire proceedings of the tournament

Winners – Vijay and Aneesh V That was a fantastic win for AMBC. The final was nail biting with 3 games.

Division one Runners up 2021 Auckland Malayali Samajam Tournament This was an amazing tournament where few of our top seeds couldn’t attend the tournament due to health issues and injuries. Surprisingly even after few muscle cramps, AV (Aneesh) and Jose fought the battle and made us all proud by winning the Samajam division one runners up title. Awesome guys!. Apparently malayalam samajam tournaments are historically considered as a prestigious tournament with in the community. AMS is one of the largest community organization in Auckland 2021 Auckland Malayali Samajam Division one runners up.

Hamilton Samajam division one winner 2020 Hamilton Malayali Samajam is another major badminton tournament organizer and pretty much conducts tournaments every year. Thanks to Frijo and Sunil for representing AMBC and winning the division one title.
